The afternoon brings the Holiday Village at River View Park, 151 Sycamore Drive. This is a FREE event!  Come enjoy 20 Tons of Snow, vendors, music, beer & wine, and the lighting of the Christmas Tree. This runs from 4-7pm with the tree lighting at 7pm.

Come and visit us at the Flying Miz Daisy Vintage Market at the Santa Ines Mission during Danish Days weekend September 21st, with book signing by local writer Elizabeth Poett!

Join us as we use our 20 gal Copper Alembic Still to produce fragrant lavender essential oil right in the middle of our lavender field! When we open the farm at 10 am we will begin the first distillation of the day, starting with an explanation of how to pack the lavender into the column, attaching all of the parts together with rye flour, and then heating up the still. The still takes approximately 3 hours to heat up and then another 2 hours to produce the essential oil. Once we have finished the first distillation, we will then begin the second run, where we will remove the distilled lavender from the column and start the process again with new lavender, which should take about 3 hours since the pot will already be hot. We should be finished with the final run of day by closing time 5pm. Walk-ins are welcome throughout the day, we hope to see you here!

The Santa Barbara Lavender Festival is an arts and crafts festival that focuses and celebrates creativity through the artistic expression of lavender and/or lavender themes, by artisans, local lavender farms, and small business owners. We encourage all our vendors to incorporate lavender as much as they can into their products.
